Switching to regular stroller seat?

When did you guys switch out of the car seat for the stroller to the regular seat with your little ones? He will be 4 months on Sunday and just wondering!

I switched at about 3.5 months and he loves it. He would cry in the infant seat in the stroller. He likes to sit up (still slightly reclined) but usually ends up leaning to one side so I just roll up a blanket on that side so he has some padding for his head.

I like to wait until my kids are sitting up on their own, I feel like strollers have too little head and neck support for babies this young.

I just used an infant car seat insert to support her head, so she had freedom but wasn’t sliding or bouncing around

Mine has been in the stroller since 2 weeks old, we've just been lessening the recline as he gets older.

My guy will be 4 months on the 6th and we switched to the regular seat about a week ago. It seemed like his bucket seat was just to hot for walks. He’s done fine in the regular seat. It’s reclined very slightly....his sisters seat is in the way to recline it more but he seems to like sitting up more anyway.

We did once at 3.5 months because we walked across the street to eat when we were staying in a hotel. She’s not ready for that all the time 😂 she kept slipping and sliding she’s 4m now maybe we will try again at 5m

We use it but ours leans almost all the way back. I don't have her laying down but she isn't fully upright.
