UTI at 32 weeks

So I’m almost 32 weeks along and went to L&D almost a week ago because I was having Braxton-Hicks, lower back pain, and pressure/pain in the vaginal area. They tested urine and told me I had a UTI, but that they couldn’t start treatment until the culture came back to determine what antibiotics to give. Here I am 1 week later, and the test results still have not come back, meanwhile I’m miserable and worried that the infection will affect my pregnancy/baby. Any advice for what I could do in the meantime?
