I had planned for a scheduled c section on 8/7 but my son had other plans

I had planned for a scheduled c section on 8/7 but my son had other plans! My water broke at work on 7/29, and I ignored it all day long 😂😂 it wasn’t like in the movies, it was a small slow leak so I thought it was no more than discharge 🤷🏼‍♀️ well then I couldn’t get comfortable, sitting or standing and I felt super clammy and like I needed to poop! Ended up taking myself to L/D around 6pm to be checked out and I was not dilated, and no contractions showed on the monitor YET my water had broke. So we had a “semi-emergency” c-section, my Son was brought into the world at 11:10pm, weighing 7lbs 7oz, 19 1/2 inches long! I had the c section and I also had my tubes tied, I will say recovery has been quite tough - there are more intense pains now than I remember having with my first c section. We spent Monday night & Tuesday night in the hospital and we got sent home Wednesday afternoon! 💙
