Anesthesia after birth gives headaches?

So Tuesday i had my baby boys, since coming off all the medicine I’ve constantly had a headache right down the middle of my head. It’s there when I wake up. Like all they doing is giving me hydrocofone every 4 hours but even with that, my head is still hurting. 
Anyone else having or had this problem?

Does it hurt less when you lie completely flat (no pillow)? If so, you may have a spinal headache which means you lost some spinal fluid when they punctured your back for anesthesia. It throws off the pressure in your spine and you can have this type of headache for days up to weeks if left untreated. Sometimes a blood patch (another procedure) can help. Definitely let your doctor know if meds aren’t taking the edge off.

If it worse when you sit up it an spinal headache and I blood patch can help I have heard. I had this with my last baby but they said that there is no record or proof that I leaked fluid so they did nothing. I had a constant headache when I was sitting up for about a week but then I effects from this for about 7 weeks after that. When I went from a sitting to standing position my head would hurt so bad I though I was going to pass out. I would defiantly talk to them about a blood patch this is the reason why with this baby I will not be getting an epidural
