When do you usually stop swaddling?

We plan to stop once he can roll over. Then we’ll switch to the love to dream swaddle with removable arms.

Agree with some of the other moms our little one hates being swaddled kicking constantly so we started just putting him in sleepers with long sleeves and feet he’s sleeping so much better even though that startle reflex is there it doesn’t seem to bother him and he goes right back to sleep 🤷‍♀️

Mines 8 weeks and still loves a swaddle. He’s really strong and has good control over his body so I know he will start rolling over soon and we will need to stop. Trying to slowly transition him out with different techniques - one hand out, Merlin’s sleep suit, but until then still swaddling.

I stopped at 3 weeks my son started rolling at 3 weeks. Poor thing loves being swaddled he’s 7 weeks so I have to keep a very close eye on him.

Swaddles are to be stopped after 8 weeks or if they are showing signs of rolling over. Safe sleeping.

Question- how do you keep them warm once they cant be swaddled? Just buy some warmer onesies?

We are almost 5 weeks and have done arms out swaddling for awhile because my son hated being confined. We picked up some of the sleep sacks that have arms and he has done so much better with those!
