What are your daily lives like with baby?

Just wondering how everyone is managing life with a newborn. Are husbands/so’s helping out? Moms or mother-in-laws? Or are you handling baby and the household by yourselves? What about those of you that also have toddlers at home?

I now have 2 boys- my oldest will be 3 in October and my youngest was born on the 13th. My oldest still goes to daycare 3 days a week to allow me time to rest with baby. My baby likes to nap in my arms,  so I spend a lot of time on the couch. He also breastfeeds what seems like all day- every 1.5 - 3 hours.
Thankfully my oldest has a pretty consistent schedule. So when he is home with me on Tuesdays and Fridays we do our best to mesh the boys schedules.  I'm lucky that he still takes a 2 hour nap in the afternoon.  We have a fenced in back yard and he loves to play in his sandbox. I can stay inside with baby in the air conditioned house while he plays. I watch him from the slider. 
My husband and I are a team when he gets home from work.  He is amazing and I dont know what I would do without him. My husband usually takes my oldest outside and gives him one on one time until bedtime.  After which- I feed my baby for the last time and hand him off to my husband.  He then rocks baby until he is out cold while I go to sleep. He doesn't have boobs- so he does what he can to get me the most sleep possible.

So far so good over here 😊 my husband saved all his vacation for when she arrived so he is off with me for 2 weeks, he has been amazing. She just arrived on Tuesday so it's all pretty new but the support from my family has been incredible also. So thankful for all of them, especially for bringing us food 😂👌

A lot of sitting and breastfeeding. When she actually let's me put her down I play with my 18 month old daughter and try to make myself something to eat. My husband works overnights and sleeps a majority of the day but when he's awake I try to clean and shower and relax if I've got time. I always end up cleaning more after my girls go to bed. My husband puts our oldest daughter to bed because I had a c-section and she's 25 pounds so I'm not able to lift her yet. I'd love to relax but trying to find time to rest without my newborn attached to me is basically impossible.

So far so good! My mom, and in laws are down from across the country and so they’ve been keeping us fed and our house clean so my husband and I can adjust. My husband has been a true god send, the last couple days our little guy has been cluster feeding so my husband has been feeding me dinner and snacks 😂🤦🏻‍♀️

So far so good with us too. 
My mother has been staying with us and will be here for about another week. My MIL also lives a 5min walk away and has been over almost everyday. My MIL was also in the hospital with me and my husband. (I’m closer with her than my own mother sadly) 
Nights have been good. Baby is pretty consistent for the most part. Wakes every 2.5-3hrs. He’s 12 days old now. We set one alarm to wake him up the first time after going to sleep and then we let him wake us up when he needs to eat. We change him, I feed him, then lay him back down in the bassinet. 
My husband normally changes his diapers and then I feed him. Hubby has been amazing. First week home he got me whatever I needed. He’s the most supportive person to me in my life and I’m so lucky to have him. He’s also been offered 3 weeks paid leave so he’s been great.

My husband had 2 weeks vacation and he went back to work Monday. So far I feel like all I do is laundry, dishes, and lactate....also getting no sleep whatsoever. Sometimes I will realize its like 1pm before I've even eaten or drank anything.  All totally worth it for my beautiful little girl 💗

Our baby is a week old today and we were discharged sunday. My husband is home with us for another week so hes helping out, slightly terrified of what happens when I'll be on my own.
Shes either great and eats and then sleeps for 2 hours or she crys 24/7 for a day. Defi itely a struggle but so worth it.

I have a 3 week old and a 21 month old. My husband stayed home for almost a week. I have to say I was nervous at first but it’s been easier than expected. I do have a lot of support. Our church brought meals every other night for the first 3 weeks. My mom comes to help out at least once a week and other friends have offered to take my 21 month old for half days to help out. I nap when they both nap or clean up the house etc. I try to get out of the house every day so my older child (who has been very jealous) gets something fun to do.

I have an almost 2 week old. She sleeps very well thru the night! I BF her every 2-3 hours during the day time, and try to keep her awake after feedings before letting her nap. She is not too fussy so she generally is just being held, in the boppy or swing looking around til I put her down for nap. Nothing too exciting but I know as she gets older she be more observant and active.
