Retrieval and PGS Numbers

We are going through IVF for the first time after 3 failed IUIs. I wanted to share my retrieval and official PGS numbers here for those who are interested. I know everyone is different and results will vary, but I know during my research leading up to the IVF decision I was super interested to see the numbers. Especially for my age group. So here you go!

I’m 37, soon to be 38 in November with probable endometriosis. I have a large endometrioma on my right ovary. Didn’t have the laparoscopic surgery done though. Stims included Menapur and Gonal F/Follistim + Ganirelix and then a Lupron trigger.

-16 eggs at retrieval

-14 mature

-13 fertilized

-8 made it to blastocyst (day 5 & 6)

-6 healthy embryos after PGS testing

Next step, transfer!
