First IVF cycle

Hello ladies,

We meet with our doctor today to review protocol—and sh*t just got real😬. Do not get me wrong I am so excited for this next chapter in our fertility journey. But I am very very scared of the procedure and a big suck when it comes to anyone medical (although I always survive lol)

I assumed I would be ‘knocked out’ for this. But dr. explained that I will be given something to relax me but I’ll feel a lot of pressure and feel the poke of the needle. I’m also nervous about the meds as I had an awful experience with fast acting drugs before (put out to set a broken arm and I had an awful reaction—seeing things, freaking out a ‘trip’)

I’d love to hear people’s experience with the meds and procedures!
