Light pink spotting at 5 weeks?? Super worried

Today is my 5 week mark since lmp. I’ve had period like cramps for over a week, which I was told is totally normal. But Earlier I used the bathroom and only when I wiped I had light pink spotting. I wiped again and there wasn’t anything and hasn’t been anything since. I called my dr and he didn’t sound concerned at all and said it’s normal but if I had anything period like to go to the Er.

Has anyone else had experience with this?? I’ve been flipping out ever since. They moved my ultrasound up to 5 days from now but I think I might go crazy from now til then.
