How long does it take for the milk to come?

Does your milk come in as fast if you have a csection as to having a vaginal delivery? How long does it  normally take?

Mine came in on the 2nd day after having a c section.

Anywhere from 2-7 days typically. Mine came in very quickly but my best friends took a full week! We both had great milk supplies once it came in, so if it takes a while that doesn’t mean you’ll have issues later on. You may just need to substitute with formula for a few days if it takes a long time to come in... my friend is a pediatrician and she was shocked it took so long.
