I was in the hospital on Tuesday to attempt an induction. I had 6 rounds of cytotec, a day of pitocin and a membrane sweep with NO progress. Was stuck at 50% effaced and 2cm. Since baby and I were doing great on the monitors, doctor gave us some options...more cytotec or we could take a break and go home, be induced again orrrr just wait for it to happen on its own.

We opted for the second option and came back today, which is actually my little babes first due date.

We got settled in and my first check revealed I was 60% effaced, still at a 2. Got my first dose of cytotec, have been having several contractions. 3 hours later- nurse returns to check and administer another dose. 70% effaced and at 3cm now!

Doctor said since I’ve had it before, I will most likely be more sensitive to it and react better this time which most certainly seems to be happening!

Looks like my little guy was just waiting to be born on his original due date...hopefully lol!❤️

So exciting that things are actually progressing this time.

Can’t wait to squeeze my tiny human out of my vagina 🙈😂
