TMI! Do I have to go to the doctor's?🙄 TMI BLOOD PIC

So I've being bleeding from my bum for like a couple days and it's like I'm having a period it's mostly only after I have a poo and then just bleed for an hour or so after it's getting abit annoying now I take painkillers almost every day because I do have ibd so I have pretty bad cramps but they seem to have got worse past couple days if I ring my doctor's I know they won't see me for over a month anyway (love the NHS!!) What should I do kinda just hoping it will go away .

Is this what bleeding from hemoroids looks like ??

You need to see a doc most likely hemorrhoids however it could be ulcerative colitis or something more serious.

I would go to the doctor. What kind of painkillers are you taking? If it’s ibuprofen, then it’s thinning your blood, which will make the bleeding worse. But, definitely go to the doctor

You need to see someone. This can be caused by so many things. Some nothing, some quite serious. See a physician as soon as you can.

I don't mean to scare you but my uncle was doing that and it turned out he has colon cancer so it may be best to get checked out.

They can cauterize it or tie it off if it's a hemorrhoid or a fissure. I would go get it looked at so it doesn't get worse and anything other than tylenol will thin your blood ibuprofen, aleve, naproxen, aspirin, advil etc. So that could be why it is still bleeding too.

I have IBD as well. I have hemorrhoids too. The pain killers are making the bleeding worse like others said. I've had it look like that sometimes as well. Up your fiber intake, water intake, and take a stool softener regularly so they can clear up. Still see the dr though

Sounds like a hemorrhoid to me which means the doctor will most likely tell you to use over the counter hemorrhoid ointment. However, I personally am allergic to that and the only alternative that I know about (that's over the counter) is witch hazel and that cant be used internally.
