Flesh eating bacteria in gulf coast

Ok so I heard that there’s a bacteria in the waters of the gulf coast that has been infecting and in rare cases, killing people. I am worried because I am going to Panama City beach, Florida for a a vacation next week and it is right on the gulf coast. The virus only infects people with weak immune systems or if they have an open wound or scab. I don’t have either of these things, however I am still scared I am going to get it. I know I could just stay in the pool and on the sand, but I would like to enjoy the water. Has anyone else been on a vacation to the gulf coast recently? What should I do?
