When after birth did you have sex?

Question

Almost 2 weeks postpartum, healing well, and almost done bleeding. Not in any rush but just curious to when people had sex after having a baby. The nurse at the hospital before leaving said I could anytime, and i dont have my work up until 6 weeks postpartum. Looking for people's experiences if possible please.

When pregnant I completely lost my sex drive so I don’t think we have had sex since Feb!! Seeing my partner with our child has made me love him so much more and my sex drive has returned. We are sleeping in separate beds as I’m feeding and he needs his sleep as he works hard and I miss him so much. It’s his birthday this week and if baby allows we will be having sex. Baby will be 3 weeks old and the bleeding had stoped I had a C/S which has healed well and I feel good to go haha.

I only tore from the outside and so minor I didnt need stitches. I've been cleared by my midwives at 2 weeks pp but havent yet but I'm ITCHING for it.

Oh following. 3 weeks post cesarean and feeling good but still nervous. My doctor said after 4 weeks I’m good to go 🤷🏼‍♀️

I haven’t yet and I’m 3 weeks 4 days PP. My midwife said it’s safe to do so whenever I feel ready and my bleeding has stopped. It hasn’t just yet but I want to wait until I’m back knob BC before we do as I do not want to get pregnant again right now!

I was told after 6 weeks but did it at 3 weeks 😬. Yeah yeah I know risk of infection. Anyways my stitches were gone and I felt good. Honestly I expected it to hurt a lot from what I read on here but we took it slow and only had a little discomfort at first and I was only a little sore after.
