I need advice please help!

Okay. So I went to the doctor on a Thursday found out I had a 3cm cyst on my right ovary. He offered birth control but I told him we were TTC so he just gave me ibuprofen. Well pain got worse so I went back on Tuesday. Cyst grew to a 3.6cm in just 5 days so He gave me pain meds but called me in some birth control for if I needed to start to get rid of the cyst (or help it). I can’t decide if I want to start it because we’re TTC!!! I need advice. He said if I’m on it it’ll just be for 2-3 months but I really don’t want it because I want a baby! Can someone please help me out!
