At 5am this morning my 11 day old had a 101.2 temp, advice nurse had us go right to the ER. Spent 7 hrs there watching my baby get an IV, bloodwork, urine test, chest X-rays. To rule out meningitis, the ER doc did a spinal tap...and he told me he had to do it 3 times and still didn’t get a sample!!! 😡😥 we were then transferred to another hospital to their pediatrics department. Had to watch baby be strapped into a gurney and taken in an ambulance. His temp has been fluctuating all day. It’s now 8pm and this doc wants to do another Spinal tAp. To make matters worse, I have been all by myself....my hubby is in Texas. Thankfully he got a flight back and should be here soon. My eyes are swollen and red from crying all day. Im trying to be strong for little Ethan. He could really use some extra prayers right now. 💗

UPDATE:

After 3 days in the hospital, Ethan is being released! Spinal was negative and he was positive for a cold virus. (Which he probably got from my toddler). Thank you all for your prayers!! 💗💗💗
