Nighttime pain

So the last couple of nights I’ve woken up needing to go to the bathroom and what wakes me up is pain! It’s not like.. abdominal pain I don’t think? I’m not quite sure how to explain it to be honest. The first night my “stomach” (not even sure that’s what it really is??) hurt all night but was fine by morning. The second time, last night, it only hurt me enough to wake me the one time and again by morning it was fine. Not just like an achy hurt.. but painful hurt. Should I be concerned? Has anyone else experienced this?
