The hook effect

Has anyone ever heard of the hook effect? Anyone experience it and have a normal pregnancy. I have had 6 positive pregnancy tests starting 7/30 and the latest way 8/2. One was even a digital one. I have had no bleeding or cramps and feel pregnant. Last night after sex I had a very little bit of spotting but it was gone this morning. I took another test to ease my anxiety and it was negative. I’m so confused. Still no bleeding or cramping and still have very sore breasts and nausea. Just need peace of mind.
