September baby is now an August baby!!

Due to being diagnosed with gestational diabetes today at my final growth scan I've been booked in to be induced on the 23rd August my original due date was 1st September. I'm overwhelmed with so many emotions right now I'm scared, nervous, gutted I'm not getting another September baby (my first was born 21st September) but on the other hand I'm excited as I will finally get to know if I have a boy or girl, my family will be complete, my daughter will offically be a big sister, I can now wash everything and get out bags ready so I'm trying to be positive but I cannot hide my fear.

But is there anyone on here that has been induced before? what was your experience?
