Polyhydramnios ?

Question

Has anyone ever heard of polyhydramnios? Anyone experiencing this? I was told this past week that I have an excessive amount of fluid surrounding the baby. I am currently 32 weeks pregnant.

My sister in law had that with her third child. And she ended up with a perfectly healthy baby!  Hope that helps relieve some anxiety.

My friend had this. She just had a healthy 9 pound, 6 ounce baby girl via c-section this morning.

I was borderline with it with my oldest, he’s been a happy and healthy little dude since day one. No health issues (besides eczema but I don’t think it’s from the extra amniotic fluid). The extra fluid did contribute to my waters breaking while my doctor was doing a membrane sweep at my 39 week appointment. 
More than likely they’ll just monitor you and baby a little more for the rest of your pregnancy. I’m pretty sure your baby will be fine, especially if everything has been good up to this point.

I have a friend that had it, it was severe to the point she could barely even feel her baby kick. Her baby has a genetic disorder but they knew that he likely had that at her 12 week ultrasound bc of a thickened nuchal fold.

I had a growth scan 3 weeks ago and it showed my waters were 24 afi so borderline Polyhydramnios two weeks later afi had come down to 18.5. Apparently waters fluctuate. Have you been asked to go back for a scan?. My friend had Polyhydramnios during to GD and her baby was fine, she did say when her waters broke it was like a mini Lake on the floor x
