When did you tell parents?

My husband and I found out we are expecting  our first after TTC for 2 years. We didn’t really share with family/ people we were trying. I am currently just over 4 weeks. When did you tell parents and in law? I want to tell them before the 12 weeks but not sure when. If something was go happen I would want support. Thanks in advance!

Were waiting until the ultrasound so we can show them something 😊 but not telling anyone else till 12w

I told my parents right away. We are close and I found it easier to have support from them. I also had a mmc in may but at around 6 weeks. I found it easier to have so much love and support and it didnt make me feel so alone. For me, it helps knowing ibhave my parents and my husband rooting us on and praying for a sticky baby this time.

My parents will be visiting us from out of town on Saturday! We will be 5w4d and we will tell them then!

We told ours straight away. Waiting on telling friends closer to 10-11 weeks. Not announcing on social media until about 14 weeks.

I told my mother , sisters and niece because I know they will be praying for me and baby. Still haven’t told my husband side of family . Waiting for 12 weeks to mention it to them.

I told my family first thing when I was pregnant with my son. I miscarried at 9w5d. I’m now 5w5d with my rainbow baby and I’m waiting till at least 11 weeks to tell everyone. Only people that know are my sister who lives with me and my best friend who will be helping me take pics for the announcement.

I always tried to wait closer until the second trimester but it usually came out by my sis saying you look pregnant and I said it’s because I am lol
