When u had your baby didnthe hospital provide formula or did you bring your own can?

First time pregnant and being induced at 39 weeks for gestional diabetes . I’m making my hospital bag for baby and I feel I got so much stuff. Do I need to bring the cans of powder formula or do hospital provide milk??

The hospital provided milk and sent me home with a price as well.

My hospital has these and I can use as many as need while there and they sent me home with maybe 15 last baby I had

They will provide formula diapers and wipes and even send you home with some. I breastfed but when we left my nurse gave me two packs of diapers two packs of wipes and several tubes of aquaphor for our sons circumcision.

It depends where you are. In the uk you have to bring your own pre made after you have given birth x

My hospital would not provide it unless it is prescribed from the dr. They also provide next to no sanitary items so we have to take our own. I live in New Zealand and our healthcare is government funded. Some of the private birthing centres will supply some sanitary items but I don’t think they supply formula!
