Hi there. So I just finished my 10 days of Provera. Going into starting it I had a lot of questions so I thought I would just share what my personal experience was like. My first question to my doctor was: if I start my period before I finish the 10 days dosage do I still keep taking it? I was told no, I could stop if I started my period. That being said, there is an additional 10 days after finishing the dose before your period could come. For me personally mine came the day after my last tab. In the first couple days i had some acne on my forehead. Nothing noticeable but I could see it. It is where i broke out when i was a teenager. The biggest symptom i had was the hunger. My goodness i wanted to eat all day. I haven't weighed myself before during or after to know if I gained but... I wouldn't be surprised. Nothing else that I noticed. My mood was good. That's about everything. I hope this helps if someone is about to start and needs some answers.
