When is the right time to have a baby?

Hey ladies! It’s been a while since I’ve been on the app. Me and my fiancé have been talking a lot about babies, and when we want to start trying and well... we keep getting stuck! When is it the right time? I haven’t graduated college yet (2 more years minimum) he just got into his career (less than 6 months ago) we live in an apartment (not a house) and we both still have some things to pay off. After we brought all that up, we were like ugh so when is the right time? Is all that supposed to be in order before we try? Are we supposed to wait until we have a house, degree, etc? Opinions please! Young mommies, middle aged mommies, older mommies, or woman who aren’t mommies at all! Anything would help 💜💜

And Better still, establish your married life together too. Create a solid foundation/partnership for a baby to come into. Being parents will test everything you have. You want to have the early trickiness of married adult life worked out before a baby arrives to throw a new irrational variable into the mix.

Do yourself a favor and at least finish college first. Finish one hard, time-consuming thing before beginning another hard, all-time-consuming thing.

Honestly there is no perfect time. Even if you think you are fully ready you never know how long it’ll take to get pregnant. It my partner and I 6 years, tons of lifestyle changes, 2 losses and fertility meds to conceive our first. I just turned 35 and our daughter is 15 months and I’m 36 weeks with our son. My advice is finish your college and do the things you think is important to prepare but also prepare your body for conception. Start prenatals, eat well, stay hydrated, excercise, get checkups with the dr, etc... and this goes for your partner as well- it takes healthy egg and sperm to get pregnant :) good luck 👍🏻

There's never a perfect time lol. Having your degree, a house, etc doesn't necessarily mean you'll be ready then! Just make sure you're financially stable, not just barely making it. Babies are soo expensive! Personally I'd wait until after you graduate and find a job, in the event you can't find a job right away. I just had my first and I'm 34, I just knew I was ready!

We waited until we were married, out of college, had a house, and we're financially stable. I had our first baby at 31. I wouldn't change a thing. We have been happily married for 18 years. We have 3 beautiful boys. And I'm able to be a homeschool mom. Which I never even considered as a possibility until it became necessary for our oldest son. Thank goodness we had the resources for me to stay home and do this for him.

My 20's were a lot of fun! We partied alot, traveled, lived all over the country... finished school, got good jobs, bought a house. 
I had my first at 33 and am pregnant with number 2 at 34. I don't regret waiting, I love the were comfortable financially and I can stay home with my babies until they start school.

I would first, at the absolute minimum, wait until you’re done with college. Every time I bring up babies to my SO, he says we need to wait until I’m at least done with school. Having an infant while in school will be very difficult and time consuming. Just stay in school, keep on track and graduate on time. 
There’s absolutely no order to baby making. The general rule that Glow and Eve members usually live by is wait until you’re done with school, have a house and have a job. Wait until you’re financially, mentally, emotionally and physically ready.
