At my 34 weeks appointment i asked when do they check if baby is head down. The doctor told me at my 36 week appointment and if baby is not they do something to try to flip him at 37 weeks.

So at my 37 weeks appointment (a different doctor) i had to ask for her to even check if he was head down. She said she couldn’t feel the head but she wasnt concerned and said they usually don’t check?? But she’ll ask the actual doctor if he thinks we should do a ultrasound bc she can’t feel the head. When actual doctor came in he was a complete ass and was like there’s no point in ultrasound, they don’t check into I’m in labor, and they try to feel during cervix check. My cervix was still closed this week she couldn’t feel anything.

Shouldn’t the baby being head down be more of a concern?? The doctor i had at 34 weeks made it seem like it’s a norm and they always check.
