We've reached the due date! 🐣

And no sign of baby coming out anytime soon. 😂🙈 Last Thursday I had contractions for about six hours or more that kept increasing in intensity and were between 3-5 minutes apart and lasting a minute in average. Husband and I thought it was time and headed to the hospital. Got hooked up to the monitor for a while and then checked. Only 1cm which I had been since my 39 week appointment. Waited another hour. Contractions started lightening and then completely stopped. 😰 Checked again, no dialation and I ended up going back home. Apparently it was prodromal labor which NO ONE ever told me about!! Real contractions but they cause little to no progression and then go away. So frustrating. 🙈🙈 But the nurses were great and the monitor definitely showed me contracting for a while. Since that day, nothing! No contractions or anything.

I have an appointment today for an ultrasound, and then I'll probably be scheduled for an induction. I'm measuring about a week to a week and a half ahead now (was spot on every week until about 37 weeks). I'm sort of surprised we arrived at the due date because people have been saying to me since 36 weeks that I dropped and it'd be "any day now". Okay Karen 😂👌 Thanks for getting my hopes up.
