period/pregnant?

so, i stopped taking my birth control in April. after that, i didn’t have a period in May or June. i started my period on July 5th of last month, and haven’t started yet. my app says i was supposed to start Saturday and i didn’t. i’m scared to test because i don’t want to be disappointed in a negative test😭 any recommendations? i noticed this morning my boobs were tender but other than that, i have no random symptoms.
