Diaper brand struggle

So I received diapers from my baby shower. I was using pampers size 1 swaddlers since it was a pretty big box. Yes I’m still putting size 1’s on my 15# 13 week old. I only use them at night cause I CD during the day. He doesn’t poop at night and he doesn’t pee enough to leak so I don’t bother waking him to change. Anyways I decided to open a size 2 pack of honest brand diapers I had got and tried them last night. He leaked out of the front and I had to change him. I’m kinda bummed cause I guess they aren’t good absorbers for overnight? I have two big boxes of size 2 baby dry and swaddlers. I think they are about the same right as far as absorbing? Which one should I open because I don’t think I’ll go through both boxes.
