What did you pay for IVf and did insurance pay any? IUI VS IVF

I have no fertility issues the problems were on my husbands side so we had to do donor sperm. We got pregnant our first

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>

and unfortunately are in the process of miscarying.

doctors think to a chromosomal issue. So I’m loosing it at 5 weeks.

We can do another

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a>

and hope for the best. But we found out our insurance will pay for 80% of our

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>

. So I’m generally considering doing

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>

since our doctor said it wouldn’t necessarily increase our odds since I’m 20 and healthy it would just aid in the fact we would have more embryos to transfer if one failed. And also because we have to use a donor we can freeze our other embryos for future use.

So I am really just thinking about doing the

<a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a>.

What is your opinion of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> vs <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> i know with <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IVF</a> they can pick the best embryo which has the best chances of making it as well as make sure they aren’t missing any chromosomes or having any error.

I guess I’m just in shock from my first loss but I don’t know if i want to do another <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> just for the same issue to possibly happen.

She said my chances of <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">IUI</a> success were 20-25% each month while <a href="https://glowing.com/glow-fertility-program">ivf</a> is 50-70% success per transfer.
