Albumin???

Does anyone know what albumin is when it comes to lab work? I am low, but I’m not sure what that means.

Its a way to track nutrition (or malnutrition) and is related to protein intake. It has other implications as well, but in the setting of pregnancy they are likely just ensuring you are not malnourished (often due to nausea/vomiting, cravings, aversions, etc.) and taking in enough protein to support baby.
