How accurate do you think gender prediction is based on BPM?(over 140bpm is girl)

Supposedly if your babies heart rate is higher than 140bpm it is a girl. If it is lower it is a boy. I heard my babies heart for he first time today and it was at 175bpm

It’s definitely not accurate. My sons at one point was 165-170 for the longest time in my pregnancy and then stayed at like 150-160

My babys heartbeat was 173 at 8 weeks 4 days and it's a boy

I found a study online that tested this and it actually showed that on average the heart rate was a slightly higher in boys. I think the average was something like 152 v 154?

Nope! Three of my boys has had over 140 bpm, one at 160 and one at 180. So just an old wives tale like all of the ”gender predictions”.
