So we have a 5 week old puppy.

YES, I knooow they aren’t supposed to be away from mom at that age, however, she came from my cousin’s dog’s liter and the mother sadly passed away when she was hit by a car. So we took in one of her pups.

Earlier about 2 hours ago, she was knocked out on our bed surrounded by pillows like she always is. So I went to the bathroom, when I came back she was on the floor sitting down.

I was able to get her to walk and she was limping for about 15ish minutes but slowly getting better. Each time she’d walk.

I slightly press on her hips and gently squeeze her legs and she doesn’t whimper or cry..

I’m just worried because we’re all so attached to her.

I brought it up to my best friend because she’d had tons of puppies throughout her life, (they use to breed their dogs) and she said she had one pup die about 2-3 days later from internal bleeding, but another pup just have sprained legs.

So I’m just super worried now and hoping that someone has advice to give me on what to look out for.

I’m planning on taking her in to the vet tomorrow if she doesn’t get better. I would right now but we’re down to one vehicle and my husband leaves to work at 3 am.
