My husband and i argue everyday for the past year or so... he always call me fat and tells me im not pretty... im here because of my son i do not want him to grow up without his parents together just like i did... i need help...

Sorry to be brutally honest here but people who say they are staying together for the kids are using them as security from making that life changing leap. You are deluding yourself if you think that children cannot tell you are unhappy & there is discord within your marriage, that is no way for a child to grow up seeing or living through either, they need to see what real loving relationships are & have healthy boundaries, communication skills to be well adjusted humans. Please consider the harm you are doing to not only yourself but your children if you stay in this unhappy situation.

You are going to show your son that it’s okay to disrespect women because you’re allowing it. Sometimes it’s best to figure out what’s best for you and your loved ones. I should know because I left a 10 year relationship and I have a daughter from that who is 12 now. Do yourself a favor and know your worth. It’s hard to take care of a child when you’re dealing with that kind of abuse. Life is too short to be miserable for the sake of keeping up that unstable family image

My parents had a toxic relationship and they stayed together because they thought I should have both of my parents in the same house. It fucked me up, I blamed myself for their fighting, and it contributed to me staying in multiple toxic relationships later on in life. Leave. It isn't best for your child if you stay.

Your son is going to pick up on that same behavior and think it’s normal to treat people that way. 
You deserve respect from your husband, it’s an equal partnership. 
If you don’t leave, you could always try having a conversation with him about it and stress how it makes you feel or start saying the same things to him.
