Ladies i had private insurance from my husbands job plan. I ended up getting medicaid because i go every 3 weeks and have to pay 60$ everytime. I gave the front receptionists my medicaid card letting her know i switched. Well when i went at 12+3 the obgyn said we're going to do a genetic test and you also get the gender with it. I said is it free because i heard they can be expensive. She said oh your insurance covers it. I said i now use medicaid and not that insurance. She said yes it's covered so i did the test thinking she meant my medicaid covered it. Well come to find out i look at my bills on the genetic testings website and it shows my private insurance covered it not my medicaid (which i don't use anymore since i have medicaid). I hope this doesn't affect my medicaid. I'm so pist i literally told her i use medicaid now and she said yes it covers it and now i don't even know.😪😩

She didn't even check if it was covered i told my obgyn i now have medicaid and not my private insurance she should of known or checked instead of just saying it's covered. Especially since they're the ones that are supposed to call to get it preapproved not me. So i thought that's what happened.
