I need advice about the fleas

So I started babysitting four weeks ago. I got these bites everywhere all the sudden and turns out the had kittens in the washroom with fleas all over. I want to quit so bad but my mom won’t let me. I’m tired of having bites all over me. It hurts seriously. My mom won’t let me quit and I keep begging her but she says no. I’m 16 btw.

Just the thought of it makes me itch. And I have scars all over my ankles from them biting me and me scratching too hard. Idk what to do.
