Hi ladies! So my boyfriend and are are talking a lot about engagement. We’ve decided on a budget and everything, which is great! The only problem is that we can’t find anything over the counter that is “exactly right” and in our price range. So, we’re going to meet with a gemologist to custom make the ring! However, both of us keep going back and forth on what to get, which also depends on the budget.

I found this the other night and thought it was PERFECT except for the center stone. I do like it, but not as much as emerald or marquis cuts. But I just can’t picture what it would look like in my head without the circular cut.

It also depends on the price, but I plan on having it be rose gold instead of gold and I know that emerald cuts are more expensive but I don’t want a full carat.
