So may of 2018 I was down visiting my family and was staying with my dad. We had been there for 3 days and things seemed weird/off so we left to see my husbands mom a couple of hours away. While we were there I got a very rude text from my dad’s wife’s daughter, who I hadn’t even seen or talked to while being there. She went off saying how jealous I am and how ungrateful and rude I am. How I don’t deserve to have my daughter because I’m too far up My own ass. So as shocked as I was, I didn’t even respond, and I just called my dad instead. He said he had no idea what was going on. That next day we went back to his house to say goodbye as we were headed back home. There my dad’s wife completely flipped shit. Pretty much saying all the things that her daughter had texted me, and while she was jumping down my throat, my dad was just sitting there letting it all happen and anytime I tried to talk, she cut me off so I couldn’t even try to stand up for myself. I grabbed my daughter, put her in the car seat, and went to the car. My husband stayed back to yell at them or whatever but soon joined us and we left. On the way home, my dad sent me very lengthy messages on how I was pretty much the biggest fuck up snd his wife was right. We didn’t talk until August, and that only consisted of him telling me that he “would never go to someone’s kid’s birthday party who is so ungrateful” the next tine We spoke was at thanksgiving when he told me to “get the stick out of my ass and talk to his wife” (which I had been trying to) the time we talked next was Christmas and all he said was “I got you a gift, here. You need to leave” so we left. Since then, I’ve become pregnant and we are approaching my daughters 2nd birthday which he will not be attending. He has not reached out. He has not asked for pictures of my daughter. He has not asked when I’m due. Nothing. But yet, he takes all his other grandkids out and hangs out with them. He’s paying for his wife’s granddaughters wedding.(he didn’t pay for mine) he has gone to visit both of my brothers multiple times (one in Cali and one in Utah, so not even the same state as us) I am trash to him. So i guess.. is it time to cut this toxic person out of my life for good???
