37 weeks this week and baby is 8lbs 4oz 😱

So I just had my ultrasound appt and the first thing the tech said was “was your first a big baby?” Then the tech asked “did you have diabetes with your first?” Lol. She goes “she has a big belly”.

Yes - I have been diagnosed with GD this time and have known I’m having a big baby but I didn’t expect her to weigh 8lbs 4oz already at 37 weeks! 😱. I asked the tech 3x how much she could be off with weight and she said she can’t be off by much.

I wonder what my doctor will say at tonight’s appt.....
