So my fiancé & I have been together for 8 years.. he’s truly my best friend we have two kids together, expecting our 3rd & we’re getting married December 2020, he transferred jobs about 4 years ago. So at the time we still had our two daughters, anyway he had to fill out his insurance, & 401K, also he choose an option to be putting a portion of his check away in case something happens to him, for his family to receive some money, on the receivers name he put his mom.. & said well you know she will give it to you anyway.. I just found out of this because his mom brought up how we need to set something up to take care of one another in case something happens to us recently. So this discussion is fresh. I had no idea until a couple of days ago. it kinda hurt my feelings but I don’t know if I’m just being sensitive w my hormones or if it really is fucked up. How do you think you would feel?
