Membrane sweep?

Im 37 weeks today and I have a doctors appointment tomorrow, do you think they will sweep my membranes? I’m getting induced at exactly 39 weeks and I’m already dilated to 2cms 50% effaced. I would like to get things going naturally before having to get pitocin again. Just looking for opinions because I will obviously ask tomorrow.

Usually from what I’ve heard, no. I think some might do 38 weeks, but I feel as though most wont do it until 39 weeks when your full term

You can ask but a lot of doctors won't until you're 39 weeks and since you're being induced at 39 weeks they might not give you the option at all.

Worth asking. Mines been attempting it since 36 (extenuating circumstances and I can’t be medically induced). So far no dice here, but as far as asking goes you might as well. Worst thing they can do is say no 🤷‍♀️

Every doctor is different and I’m getting induced as well at 39 weeks due to medical issues but my doctor wouldn’t do a sweep on me until I turned 38 weeks
