They closed the birthing center in my town about three weeks ago. Our town has 35,000 people in it so small but not tiny. So now all moms have to go to the bigger city near by which is has about 100,000 people. Now that the bigger city is trying to absorb all the deliveries from our whole area without enough staff they are sooo backed up and full. I’m due in 2 days and they scheduled my induction Incase I don’t have her on my own for the 17th!!!!!! 8 days over due and still said they may have to push me out farther if they need the room for more pressing deliveries, totally bums me out and frustrates me 🙁 I am just ready to meet this little girl. Fingers crossed she makes her arrival on her own soon.
