Does your workplace offer “period leave”?

I get really bad cramps on my first day & super heavy flow on my second day, & all I wanna do is to stay at home.

Unfortunately, my city’s culture is the if-you-can-still-breathe-you-should-keep-working type. I’m still a student, but during my summer job I already feel sorry for taking leave so often, it’s as if I’m doing something bad (I know it’s not though). But I’d rather go to work & actually be productive instead of dying at my desk.

I’m gonna graduate soon so I need to consider finding a job, & I really wanna find one which offers period leave.

If any of you ladies do have “period leave,” do they still pay u for the day? & how many days are allowed? Gimme all the detailssss
