Eating habits

Hayley

Now I’ll be the first to say that I LOVE food, like it’s honestly the love of my life but I’ve had a problem lately. For a little background I’ve always struggled with my weight and it fluctuates frequently during the year. For the last three weeks I have been conditioning for my schools cross country team. So on our easy days we run five miles and on harder, faster days we only run four (warm up, two mile workout and then a cool down).

My problem is that for the past two weeks just the thought of eating any food has made me nauseous. Not only that, but I haven’t been hungry at all. I know I need to eat, but even eating a small handful of peanuts and a glass of water makes me feel like I want to get sick. I know that I need nutrition in order to run, but when I feel sick just eating small amounts of food what can I do? I’m not restricting my eating on purpose, I just don’t feel hungry/good at all! What do I do?
