Scared taking bc wrong???

Question

So I've been on BC for about a month and I don't take it the same time everyday , missed twice but I took the next one asap which was like 30 min after midnight. Would it still work?? Some people say u have to start a new pack but on google it says to take ur next one asap. I just hope it's working.

If ur on a combination pill u have a +/-2 hour window to take it for it to be perfect use/99.7% effective. After that is considered typical use/91%-92% effective. And, 12+ hours difference is considered a missed pill. With combination pills, if ur late or miss a pill, take it as soon as u can/remember & continue taking the rest on time (even if that means taking two pills in one day). U typically don’t need to start a new pack unless u completely miss 3 or more active pills in a row. 
If ur on a mini/progestin only pill u have typically have a +/- 30 minutes-1 hour window for perfect use/99.5% effective. And, anything 3+ hours late is considered a missed pill, in which backup protection should be used for at least 48 hours. 
All that being said, to know exactly about ur specific brand of pills, read the leaflet that comes with them.

Do you at least take it with the same hour? If you miss one, you take that one & the pill for that day also. It’s likely going to mess with your cycle especially if it’s the beginning of the pack. After having my son & getting back to a normal cycle. i missed a couple or took them late then ended up with a 3 week period. Restarted & took them at least within the hour if not around the same time each day and have been fine. My hubby also doesn’t pull out so it’s working
