My best friend and I are both 17. We have known each other since we were 13 but in the last year we have gotten so much closer. This year has been crazy with both of us, we have both had mental health issues (he even saved my life by calling the police after one of my suicide attempts). In the last few months, I've noticed we have a weird connection but I can't tell if I'm friendzoned. Depending on who gets up first (usually him) he will send a "good morning" text and at night we both say "I love you" before we go to bed. I'm not sure if it has become a protective thing that we have started because for a while we never knew what tomorrow would bring or if it actually means something. I really like him and always have but especially more recently. I'm always there for him and hes always there for me but honestly men are so hard to read 😂
