realistically how many kids is too many?

As long as you can financially afford it, there is no such thing as too many .

As long as you are able to take care of your children financially then however many you want. Some people say 1 is enough, some say 5 and some say 20. To each there own.

There's no such thing. As long as you can afford them and are mentally equipped to handle them then, I don't see why any number would be too much. I chose 6-8 just because that was the highest number.

I have 4, ages 13, 8, 8 and almost 2. It is chaotic,  but it is awesome.  I'd have a 5th some days, but other days I am like "oh hell nah." We aren't having anymore.

I’m one of 9. My parents more than were able to care for us. Even spoiled. We never wanted or needed for things and they go above and beyond for each of us. As much as I love all my siblings, and expecting my first - I don’t know how my mom handled it lol. As long as you can care and provide, no one can make that choice.
