I’m confused?

Okay so this is the first month I use ovulation strips to track my ovulation. So when the line is darker than the control line does that mean I’m ovulating or I’m ABOUT to ovulate (used the brand Pregmate). Another thing, my test line was darker or as dark as the test line for 4 days straight? Does that mean I was highly fertile those day? I’m getting confused cause I’m trying to track my DPO so I can start testing. Any help would be much appreciated!
