Swallowing pills?..

So recently I got a prescription from the doctor and he asked “are you ok taking tablets?” And I said yes because usually I can pretty well. Anyway I got them and they are the size on my thumb nail. I can’t take them and I’m so embarrassed is anyone else like that?

Same! Mostly you can crush pills up and eat them in a smoothie or yogurt, unless they’re gel caps, what I always do is let it sit in your mouth for a few minutes so it’s less hard but not dissolved and then try swallowing. It’s mostly a little easier because it isn’t as solid. If not, just ask your doctor for an alternative option like a liquid,

Call and tell him they’re too big. I have a hard time swallowing big pills and opt for liquid or chewables whenever I can.

I can’t even swallow normal sized pills, I have to push the pill down my throat with a finger and quickly take a drink of water, its the only way I can do it
