I got up this morning and chatted with my husband while we ate breakfast and started cleaning up the house and when I walked into the bathroom I was greeted by the nightmare of a face. Totally forgot to take off yesterday’s make up last night 😬 I laughed and said “I didn’t realize I had two black eyes!” And he was like “I didn’t notice” I walked out and pointed to my face and was like “you didn’t notice all this??”

He shrugged and was like “no I really didn’t” I could tell he was being honest. For some reason it kinda hurt my feelings. Like you clearly arnt looking at me or paying attention to me if you didn’t notice. He also says he doesn’t see a difference when I’m wearing make up (but then most often compliments me when I’m wearing make up) and I’m just like do you even see me?! Or am i just the mom of your kids?

Idk. Am I overreacting?
