Shrimp are safe! They’re low in mercury. I’ve been eating a ton of shrimp this pregnancy! My doctor says 1-2 servings per week of low mercury seafood is fine.

I’m chinese and it’s a huge thing in our culture not to eat shellfish because it causes bad skin 🤷🏻‍♀️

Shellfish are low in mercury as long as they're cooked. I eat fish 3-4 times a week and I'm from the mid-Atlantic so crabs are a must for my summer meals.

I’ve eaten a lot of shrimp this pregnancy but I get the precooked kind and then I use it in a recipe and it gets cooked again. I haven’t had any shellfish but my doctor said to just limit the amount of anything like that to once a week
